Yes, as long as it is a shampoo for color care. This will help to protect your investment for a
longer period of time.

What happens if I am late for my appointment?

We understand LIFE sometimes gets in the way. If you are more than 15 minutes late, please
call us at 732 254 -1035, to notify of us, and we will try our best to honor your appointment.

Can I show a picture and ask to have that look recreated?
That’s a good question. Everyone’s hair is unique. The length, texture and condition of your hair
might or might not work with a particular look. The best way to know is to have a consultation
with your Drama Salon stylist beforehand to discuss what will work best for you.

Can you customize my haircut to best suit my face shape?

Our experienced stylists can advise you on how you can adjust your dream hairstyle to best suit
your unique features and hairstyle/texture and length.

How can I recreate my salon look at home?
Drama Salon’s stylists can show you the best techniques for keeping your color fresh and offer
tips for blowdrying, and conditioning.

What styling tools will I need to duplicate my look?
Products are important, but so are tools. Ask your Drama Salon stylist for the best size and type
brush or type of bristles you should use for your hair type. Don’t forget to ask about hot tools
such as curling irons, wands, and flat irons. Our stylists will be happy to offer suggestions and
ideas.

How often should I get a haircut?
Depends on your hairstyle. For those wanting to maintain a specific length and style, four to six
weeks is ideal. Keep in mind that hair grows at an average rate of about 1/2 inch a month.

How long do I need to wait between highlight or color appointments?
Everyone’s hair is different. Depending on your hair and the look you want to maintain, it’s best
to consult with your Drama Salon stylist and then make an appointment before checking out.

Do you have early appointments or late appointments?
We’ll try and accommodate you. If you have any other questions not included in this list, please
give us a call at (732) 254-0135 or send an email to salon.drama@gmail.com

Why do service prices vary at Drama?
There are many factors that go into the cost of your perfect look – here are just a few:
• Your stylist’s experience (all stylists at Drama Salon have a minimum of five years of
experience)
• Your hair’s length and texture
• Your starting color
• Your desired color
• The steps taken to achieve your result
• The time your scheduled service takes.
We’re happy to give you an estimated price before every service.

How often should I wash my hair?
To wash or not to wash? Experts are divided on this, but we believe it depends on your hair
type and needs. You should always “listen” to your hair and what it asks of you. If your hair gets
greasy you may need to wash it more. If it’s on the drier side, you can probably wash less.

Am I losing my hair?
It’s normal to lose on average 50 to 150 hairs a day, but hair loss at levels higher than that is
something that many people face. Factors that can impact your body’s natural hair growth and shedding phases include the weather, your diet and stress levels. Make sure that you are
getting a well-balanced diet and consider supplementing your diet with vitamins and nutrients
that are safe for you.

How can I keep my blond hair from getting brassy?
Brassiness is a blond’s number-one enemy. The best way to keep your hair from getting brassy
is using a specifically formulated shampoo, such as “Pravana Perfect Blond,” which is available
for purchase at Drama Salon.
